Karen Goldberg Sager is licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, the District of Columbia, local federal courts, the New York trial courts, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has more than 35 years of legal experience and practices in the areas of personal injury, divorce, and family law. Mrs. Sager earned her J.D. from New York Law School in 1986 and her B.A., with honors, from the City College of the City University of New York in 1984.

In the area of personal injury and accident law, Mrs. Sager represents individuals who have been injured in automobile, bus, taxi, train, subway, aviation, rideshare, and pedestrian accidents. She handles no-fault automobile cases and pedestrian knockdowns. In addition, she represents individuals who have been injured in slip and falls on sidewalks and streets, construction, building and worksite accidents, premises defects, elevator, escalator, and stair accidents, nursing home abuse, animal bites, assault cases, defective and dangerous products, and wrongful death matters. She has recovered millions of dollars for her personal injury clients.
She will come to your home or hospital for personal injury and accident cases. Personal injury matters are accepted on a contingency fee basis, meaning there is no attorney’s fee unless there is a recovery. Clients are responsible only for case-related expenses, which are payable at the conclusion of the matter.
In the area of divorce and family law, Mrs. Sager handles contested and uncontested divorces, annulments, legal separations, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, family court matters, including child custody, child support, spousal support, visitation, paternity proceedings, orders of protection, name changes, adoptions, relocation matters, and related family law issues.
Karen Goldberg Sager has handled complex divorce and family court matters, including those involving the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA) and the Uniform Interstate Family Support Act (UIFSA), which involve interstate matters. She serves on various family law committees of the Brooklyn Bar Association and is a well-respected practitioner in the fields of divorce and family law.
